To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR 2018, we ask for your consent before taking any photos, videos, recordings, or quotes of choir members.

 

These may be used for:

• Media publications and press releases.

• Choir publications and exhibitions.

• Social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram).

• Our own and partner websites.

• Other promotional or marketing purposes related to SING CHOIR

 

Important Information

• No personal information (names, addresses, contact details) will be included with any images or recordings.

• Any images or recordings that include members who do not give consent will not be used and will be deleted.

• All images and recordings remain the property of SING CHOIR and will not be shared with third parties.

• Media may be kept for up to 2 years, after which they will either be destroyed or archived.

• This consent form will be kept on record for as long as the media is retained.

• Consent is optional. Members who consent to images or recordings will still be able to participate fully in the choir.

 

Review

• The Image & Media policy is reviewed at least annually or when there are changes to social media practices.
